The Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET) is a basic course for people who will be working offshore, such as on oil platforms or wind farms at sea. The training teaches participants how to act in emergency situations at sea.
During the training, both the Emergency Breathing System (EBS) and the Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS) are used.
The Escape Chute (Offshore Norway – NOG supplement) is also part of this training, which is required for working on a platform in Norway.
By the way, this training should not be confused with S-Cape Evacuation System Training .
