Scaffold erection foreman - Refresher

We cover the following topics in the course:

• The process from order acquisition to execution
• Determine safe and efficient work methods for assembling, modifying and dismantling one or more scaffolds on site
• Produce good working instructions and drawings and present them to the assigned scaffolding construction team(s)
• Managing the assigned scaffolding construction team(s)
• Calculation and checking of mass (in kg, tonnes) and scaffolding volume (in m³)
• Passing on the necessary data for the complex scaffolding(s) to the structural engineer on the basis of information and drawings provided by the client
• What is meant by "complex scaffolding" and "specific circumstances"?
• Ensuring compliance with the regulations
• Assessing all safety aspects of scaffolding, based on inspections
• Propose corrective action where appropriate
• Releasing scaffolding that meets the requirements, if the foreman is authorized to do so by the employer based on his competences

Both the theoretical and practical part will be concluded with an exam.

With satisfactory results, you will receive the DNV Certificate of Competence for Scaffold Construction Foreman (formerly Scaffolder B). This is a personal certification under ISO 17024. This certificate satisfies the competence requirement of the Scaffolding Directive.

This training is a refresher training, which is intended for people whose Foreman Scaffolding diploma will expire soon.
You join the basic training where you skip the first day and start on day 2 of the basic course.
Of course, you can also retake the entire basic course if you prefer.
