Content Scaffold Inspector - Refresher
We cover the following topics in the course:
- Assess and release the strength, stiffness and stability of standard scaffolding based on drawings
- Inspection of scaffolding material on the basis of current criteria and standards
- Inspecting and assessing the safety of scaffolding at all stages
- Indication of corrective measures
- Provide insight into corrective and/or replacement constructive measures with sketches
- Legal and liability aspects of scaffolding construction
With satisfactory results, you will receive the DNV competence certificate Scaffold Inspector. This is a personal certification under ISO 17024. This certificate fulfils the competence requirement of the Scaffolding Directive.

Scaffold Inspector Refresher training
This training is a refresher course and is intended for people whose scaffold inspector diploma will expire shortly.
You join the basic training whereby you skip the first day and start on day 2 of the basic course.
Of course, you can also retake the entire basic course if you prefer.

The exam will be taken in Dutch. It is possible to translate the exam at an additional cost. Please contact us for this.

Is a medical examination necessary for me to do my job?
No. It is not necessary to undergo a medical examination before starting work.

What are the entry requirements for the Scaffold Inspector - Refresher?
- Valid VOL-VCA diploma
- At least 5 years of registered managerial experience in scaffolding construction. Your employer must confirm this work experience by means of a form.
