In the Scaffolding Mechanic training course you are prepared for the Scaffolding Mechanic exam with the help of many practical assignments and visual material.
Each training day consists of a varied program with short information sessions by the trainer and various group assignments. In total, the training consists of 4 training days. During 4 weeks there is therefore a training day every week. The assignments are formulated in such a way that they connect as much as possible to your own professional practice and are especially inviting to look for the necessary theory. In addition, you are activated as much as possible to learn by doing.

Content Assembler Scaffolding - Basic
The following topics are covered:- Safe working practices, responsibilities and authority
- Scaffolding types
- Scaffolding applications
- Names of parts (and reasons for rejection)
- Difference between standard configurations and complex scaffolding
- Access and resources
- Read drawing
- Loading of scaffold decks, foundation, anchoring, theory of forces, strength, stiffness and stability.
- Assembling, modifying, dismantling and inspecting scaffolding
- Practice exam
Both the theoretical and practical part will be concluded with an exam.
With satisfactory results, you will receive the DNV Certificate of Competence in Scaffolding Construction. This is a personal certification under ISO 17024. This certificate fulfils the competence requirement of the Scaffolding Directive.

This training concerns a basic training, which is intended for people who have not worked as an assembler before, or who do not (or no longer) possess a valid diploma for an assembler.
