Manhole Guard - Refresher

The Buitenwacht (Manhole Guard and Security Guard) Refresher training consists of a theoretical and a practical part:

Theory

• Permit system
• Confined space hazards
• Safety measures in confined spaces
• Interpretation of measurements
• Recognising and responding to danger and emergency situations

Practice

• Acting in normal situations
• Acting in an emergency
• Communication

Both the theoretical and practical part will be concluded with a test. For groups the course format and times (evenings and weekends are also possible) can be adjusted.

This training is a refresher training and is meant for people with experience as a security guard and want to refresh their knowledge, or whose diploma as a security guard will expire soon.

The SSVV Training Guide exam Working as a Watchman can only be taken in the Dutch language. Training courses that are concluded with a DELTA exam can be provided in several languages.

• Minimum age 18 years
• A valid, or maximum 3 months expired, Working as an Outside Watchman certificate
• If SOG exam - valid diploma B-VCA or VOL-VCA

• Valid identification, choice of:
  • Passport
  • Identity card
  • Driving licence
• Personal protective equipment (work clothes, safety shoes, helmet and gloves)

No. It is not necessary to undergo a medical examination before starting work.

• Digital certificate as proof of completion. A paper certificate will be not sent by default. If desired, however, you can receive a paper DELTA certificate at an additional cost of €17.50 excluding VAT or a paper SOG certificate at an additional cost of €40.
