The FAFS refresher course is intended to maintain the knowledge and skills of FAFS officers and to inform them of the latest developments in the field of FAFS. By following this course, the validity of the FAFS certificate of DELTA or NIBHV (at extra cost) is extended by one year. AED instruction is a standard part of this course.

Part 1: Life-saving actions (LH)
- General rules for administering first aid (five key points)
- Rautek's emergency coup de grâce
- Vital Functions
- Breathing and resuscitation (for adults)
- Suffocation and poisoning
- Shock
- External (severe) loss of blood and how to bandage this (bandage theory)
- Local injuries (burns, broken bones, eye damage)
Part 2: Communications, Fire Fighting and Evacuations
- Tasks of the company emergency worker
- Communication tools during an incident
- Firefighting (fire triangle and pentagon, fire stages, small extinguishers)
- Evictions
- Importance of aftercare

This training is a refresher course and is meant for people with experience as first aiders and who want to refresh their knowledge, or whose BHV diploma will expire soon.
Have you never worked as a company emergency worker, or do you not (or no longer) possess a valid BHV diploma? Then book a basic training. -
